The LDWA is an association of people with the common interest of walking long distances in rural, mountainous or moorland areas. There are a number of local groups, all with their own websites, giving details of walks (either Challenge or Group) they organised.
Events are organised throughout the year, each open to anyone who wishes to partisapate - All of these events can be viewed by utilising the LDWA web site search facility - Every challenge event requires an entry form completing and an entry fee will be requested - Payment and registration before hand is usually preferred, however entry on the day is accepted, although some popular events fill up quickly and a place is not always guaranteed.Detailed below are the events I have entered, detailing routes, pictures from the events and my personal times.
